Navy Dress Whites & Waterfront Vows | Silverdale Waterfront Park Elopement Inspo.

One minute I am sitting on the couch in my bathrobe editing a wedding, and the next I am on a phone call with a frantic groom, who eloped in his Navy Dress Whites!

Colby was frantic! He began to tell me that him and his fiancé are getting married in 30 minutes at the Silverdale Waterfront Park and FORGOT TO BOOK A PHOTOGRAPHER. I said "I got you!" He asked about payments and contracts etc. I told him we would figure it out later, we don't have time for logistics at the moment. We both giggled in excitment, I let him go and I jumped to my feet to get my self together. Luckily I have an awesome system and space where I put my gear and batteries for re charging after each wedding. So I was really prepared for a call to action wedding, I also only live 10 minutes away. Win win!

With the 20 second introduction before the wedding, Gracie stated that she loves details. Say less! I love to capture details of the moments as they happen. She has no idea I even took a photo of her holding her dress, and focusing on her wedding band.

Colby and Gracie have been together since high school, six years later and now they are husband and wife.

Look how happy these two are, after 6 years. It's finally official. I would say they are more than happy they eloped!

How contagious to be THIS happy marring the love of your life!

People are always nervous when its a little windy. I always ask my people to trust me, the wind makes everything romantic! Imagine watching Sweet Home Alabama, and the scene in the end when Reese tells her ex husband on the beach that she wants to marry him, so she can kiss him anytime she wants..... And there is no rain, wind, darkness, or lightening. The scene would not be as powerful as it is. So, almost always embrace the weather. Trust me.

What a guy! Picked her up and carried her on the docks so her feet wouldn't hurt.

I thought this was a good one to end on. I delivered 100 photos in the span of shooting for 30 minutes. I am so glad I jumped to the occasion and helped this couple out. What a beautiful day to photograph an elopement on the Silverdale waterfront! Im also so glad this sailor wore his dress whites! It looks great against the Puget Sound!
